Deck overview

This Dimir tempo deck commands an evasive Rogue tribal package led by Anowon, the Ruin Thief. The primary strategy deploys low-cost, unblockable Rogues during the opening turns, curves into Anowon to establish recurring card advantage and mill attrition, and finishes through explosive combat swings or graveyard-scaling payoffs. By connecting with unblockable attackers, the deck consistently triggers prowl costs on cards like Notorious Throng to produce overwhelming flying armies and extra turns, while Stinkdrinker Bandit significantly boosts combat damage across the table. Secondary lines exploit filled opposing graveyards through Syr Konrad, the Grim, Consuming Aberration, and Sepulchral Primordial. Reactive support combines targeted creature removal, flexible counterspells, and disruptive staples like Notion Thief and Ashiok, Dream Render. While vulnerable to mass board sweepers, the deck maintains steady recovery through low deployment costs, targeted equipment protection, and draw engines that refuel as long as evasive attackers connect.
