Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai kindred midrange strategy led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. It pairs the explosive mana acceleration and token generation of Elves with the evasion, flash timing, and disruptive tricks of Faeries. Early turns focus on establishing one-mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Elvish Mystic to deploy Maralen ahead of curve on Turn 3 or 4. Once in play, Maralen turns every subsequent kindred creature into library disruption and free spell velocity. The midgame uses flash creatures such as High Fae Trickster and Wydwen, the Biting Gale to trigger Maralen on opponents' turns, compounding card advantage. Defensive tools like Heroic Intervention and Selfless Safewright protect the board from sweepers. The deck closes the game around Turn 8 through wide combat damage powered by Elvish Warmaster activations, Trystan's Command, and evasive Faerie attacks.
