Horizon Brew by Devizer

Format: Commander

Commander: Aloy, Savior of Meridian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic Artifact deck is commanded by Aloy, Savior of Meridian, a value engine that turns combat triggers into free spells or card selection via Discover. The strategy ramps into high-MV artifact creatures and Vehiles, uses Aloy's attack-triggered Discover to cheat out the deck's top end, and finishes with trampling beats backed by Overwhelming Stampede. The deck lacks infinite combos and relies on recursive board presence from artifact-graveyard recursion (Academy Ruins, Buried Ruin, Scrap Trawler) and cost-reducers like Micosynth Golem and The Great Henge. Its primary win is pure combat inevitability; a backup alt-win exists in Mechanized Production (copy one artifact eight times) but is slow and not reliably assembled. The heavy artifat density (47% of the nonland deck) makes the entire pplan vulnerable to a single resolved hate piece, and the commander's Discover trigger is the engine that accelerates the deck's otherwise ponderous curve.
