Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov political aggro and pillowfort strategy commanded by Breena, the Demagogue. It leverages multiplayer dynamics by incentivizing opponents to attack one another while rewarding your own aggressive swings with steady card draw and +1/+1 counters. Early evasive creatures like Changeling Outcast and Esper Sentinel establish early board presence, allowing Breena to trigger immediately upon entering the battlefield. Defensive fortifications such as Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer place heavy taxes on incoming attacks, while tools like Duelist's Heritage and Combat Calligrapher accelerate opposing damage against each other. As Breena and other evasive flyers grow into massive threats, the deck closes the game through lethal commander damage and unblockable combat pressure, backed by versatile spot removal, Damning Verdict, and game-ending defensive swings like Inkshield.
