Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Landfall Midrange strategy piloted by Thalia and The Gitrog Monster. It combines land acceleration, graveyard recursion, and tempo taxation to out-resource the table. The commander accelerates your mana with extra land drops while forcing opponents' creatures and nonbasic lands to enter tapped, blunting early aggression and denying surprise blockers. Graveyard engines such as Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, and Life from the Loam continuously reuse sacrificed lands and fetchlands to generate steady card advantage and mana velocity.
