Deck overview

Bumi, Unleashed commands an aggressive Gruul deck centered on the earthbend mechanic, animating lands into resilient attackers and multiplying combat phases. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using efficient green land ramp such as Nature's Lore, Cultivate, and Khalni Heart Expedition to cast Bumi ahead of curve on Turn 4. Upon entering, Bumi earthbends 4 onto a land to create an immediate 4/4 haste creature. On Turn 5, attacking with Bumi triggers a full land untap and grants an additional combat phase exclusively for land creatures whenever Bumi connects with an opponent. This creates explosive mana tempo and doubled combat damage that quickly overwhelms the table by Turn 7. Secondary engines like The Boulder, Ready to Rumble, Toph, the Blind Bandit, and Innkeeper's Talent provide counter scaling and trampling evasion, while an infinite combat loop with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild offers an alternate compact finish.
