Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jeskai aggro-tempo build centered around Aragorn, King of Gondor. It leverages low-cost Human creatures and token generators to establish an early board presence, then deploys Aragorn to seize the monarch. While holding the crown, Aragorn's attack trigger prevents all opposing creatures from blocking, turning wide token swarms and anthem-buffed Humans into unpreventable lethal combat damage. The list is supported by format-ceiling fast mana, a dense suite of free and efficient countermagic, and silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Myrel, Shield of Argive that lock out opposing interaction on critical combat turns. Secondary win conditions include an infinite combat loop with Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Breath of Fury, as well as game-ending overrun effects from Akroma's Will and Shared Animosity.
