Deck overview

An Abzan counters-and-graveyard stax deck helmed by Tayam, Luminous Enigma. The plan is to develop a mana-dork and rule-of-law shell - Archon of Emeria, Eidolon of Rhetoric, Deafening Silence, Ethersworn Canonist - then cast Tayam and convert vigilance counters, +1/+1 counters, and Devoted Druid's -1/-1 counters into repeatable mill-3 reanimation. The primary wins are combo loops: the Devoted Druid/Basking Broodscale counter engine feeds infinite Tayam activations, while Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER plus a sacrifice outlet and undying bodies converts every creature death into table-wide life loss. Felothar, Dawn of the Abzan and Abzan Ascendancy provide a combat fallback. Execution is slow and fragile: the deck has almost no true tutors, a nearly empty draw column, and leans heavily on Tayam surviving to grind value.
