Deck overview

This Esper deck uses Bane, Lord of Darkness as a central value engine that converts creature deaths into either extra card draw or free creature deployment. The strategy pairs high-toughness low-cost creatures like Giant Ox and Fortified Rampart with sacrifice outlets such as Woe Strider and Vampiric Rites. When sacrificed, these high-toughness creatures trigger Bane to put powerful mid-game threats like Starwinder or Anticausal Vestige directly onto the battlefield.
