The Very Model of a Modern Grixis Admiral by Magic_reaper_86

Format: Commander

Commander: Admiral Beckett Brass

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Admiral Beckett Brass captains a tribal aggro and theft deck that overwhelms opponents through evasive Pirate combat and permanent theft. The primary strategy establishes low-curve Pirates in the early turns, attacks with three or more creatures simultaneously, and triggers Beckett Brass at end step to seize opposing nonland permanents. Secondary win paths capitalize on artifact accumulation and impulsive theft engines like Breeches, Brazen Plunderer and Edward Kenway, supported by overrun effects from Dire Fleet Neckbreaker and Chronicle of Victory. Admiral Beckett Brass acts as an anthem and high-impact control engine that punishes undefended boards, turning early combat pressure into permanent board state advantages.
