Kadena by TheNightsSword

Format: Commander

Commander: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer is the engine, not a finisher. The deck converts her {3} discount into a flood of {0}-cost face-down creatures, each drawing a card, then uses face-up morph triggers for removal, bounce, and counters. Its primary win is a wide morph board, often ending in a single Triumph of the Hordes infect swing after Ouroboroid or Ezuri has put +1/+1 counters on everything. A slower, resilient angle is the classic Brine Elemental plus Vesuvan Shapeshifter untap lock. The commander is important, but the deck remains functional as a generic morph value pile without her, so dependency is moderate.
