Deck overview

This mono-red deck focuses entirely on a deterministic one-card combo from the command zone. Casting Godo, Bandit Warlord for six mana searches Helm of the Host straight onto the battlefield. Once equipped, Helm creates a nonlegendary token copy of Godo at the beginning of each combat phase. Because each new Godo token attacks for the first time that turn, it untaps itself and creates an additional combat phase. This generates infinite combat phases and infinite hasty Godo copies that attack for lethal table-wide damage in a single turn. The 99 is densely packed with fast mana, rituals, and cost reducers to reach the required eleven mana as early as Turn 3 or 4. The deck protects its combo turn using efficient red counterspells, redirection magic, and tax artifacts like Defense Grid. If Godo is stopped, the deck pivots to a secondary infinite combo using Dualcaster Mage and copy spells like Twinflame.
