Deck overview

This is a Grixis discard-control deck helmed by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, built to strip opponents' hands and convert every discarded card into value. The primary plan is to deploy a suite of Specters - Hypnotic Specter, Sedraxis Specter, Silent Specter, Scythe Specter - alongside discard spells like Vicious Rumors and Unnerve, then cash in with payoffs: Waste Not generates Zombies and mana, Liliana's Caress and Raiders' Wake drain life, Geth's Grimoire draws cards, and Tinybones, Trinket Thief both draws and serves as the finisher, dealing 10 damage to each empty-handed opponent. Nicol Bolas, the Ravager flips into Nicol Bolas, the Arisen, a planeswalker providing card advantage, removal, and reanimation. Secondary wins come from Reanimate and Rise of the Dark Realms reanimating big threats. This is a slow, grindy inevitability engine rather than a fast combo deck.
