Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on Villain tribal synergies, combat aggression, and discard-based value engines led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck curves out with low-cost Villain creatures that benefit from connive triggers, granting +1/+1 counters and filtering draws while draining opponents whenever lands are discarded. Midgame token generators like Madame Hydra, Ultron, Unlimited, and Endless Ranks of HYDRA build a wide board state that is accelerated into lethal combat via haste and evasion enablers such as The Squadron Sinister and Loki, the Deceiver. Strong targeted spot removal keeps key opposing threats off the board, while recursion mechanics like Mayhem allow continuous pressure. Although the deck lacks explosive fast mana and dedicated combo lines, it applies relentless combat and burn pressure to finish opponents by Turn 9.
