Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms (Actual) by Frownbear

Format: Commander

Commander: Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red Gilgamesh deck cheats Equipment onto the battlefield and wins through amplified combat. Gilgamesh looks at six cards on entry or attack and puts Equipment directly into play, attaching one to a Samurai for free, which bypasses high equip costs like Colossus Hammer and Kaldra Compleat. The main plan stacks extra combat phases from Genji Glove, Karlach, Godo, and sorceries to turn one large, double-striking attacker into lethal damage for all three opponents. Backup wins use infinite combats with The Reaver Cleaver plus Aggravated Assault or Godo plus Helm of the Host. Godo acts as a hidden commander that tutors Equipment and generates its own extra combats.
