Deck overview

This mono-black Zombie tribal deck is led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The strategy centers on deploying resilient Zombie creatures, using Gisa to sacrifice them into swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens, and boosting those tokens with a dense suite of tribal lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief. Card advantage comes from on-death triggers like Undead Augur and engines like Cryptbreaker and Graveborn Muse. While the deck possesses explosive token production and potent life-drain finishes through Gray Merchant of Asphodel, it operates at casual speeds. It runs zero tutors, zero infinite combos, and minimal fast mana, which leaves it reliant on natural top-decks. Crucially, the plan contains no protective equipment or countermagic, leaving Gisa and her armies vulnerable to sweepers and spot removal.
