Deck overview

The deck uses Rootha, Mastering the Moment as a commander-accessible token engine. Its normal line is to develop mana, cast Rootha, Mastering the Moment, then cast an instant or sorcery before combat to create a hasty flying Elemental. The surrounding shell amplifies this plan with Rionya, Fire Dancer, Manaform Hellkite, Prismari Pianist, Storm-Kiln Artist, and copy effects such as Twinflame and Rite of Replication. The deck has useful interaction and respectable card selection, but its curve is high, many lands enter tapped, and it lacks tutors. The central problem is conversion: its ordinary token output is not enough to create a reliable lethal clock against three players, while its strongest combinations require several singleton cards together. Treat it as a value and combat deck rather than a combo deck. Preserve mana for development early, then use hasty token bursts and extra combats when a favorable board exists.
