Deck overview

This deck is an Esper lifegain control deck that leverages Oloro, Ageless Ascetic's eminence ability to maintain high life totals while advancing toward an infinite life-drain combo. Its primary victory route pairs Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Sanguine Bond. Once both pieces are on the battlefield, any life gained—including Oloro's automatic upkeep trigger—starts an infinite loop that drains all three opponents to zero life. The deck controls the game using efficient targeted removal, sweepers like Farewell, and disruptive stax creatures such as Drannith Magistrate and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV. Secondary win conditions include Felidar Sovereign and massive mana sinks like Exsanguinate or Debt to the Deathless.
