Deck overview

This is a Jeskai God-tribal deck helmed by the partner pair Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son, built around the experience-counter engine. The plan is to attack with Gods and let Gods die to accrue experience counters, which Kratos, Stoic Father converts into +1/+1 counters on a creature each end step while Atreus, Impulsive Son turns them into card draw and repeatable 2-damage pings to each opponent. The 99 is a dense God package - Kefnet the Mindful, God-Eternal Oketra, Iroas, God of Victory, Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded, Surtr, Fiery Jotun, plus the MDFC Gods - supported by a proliferate subtheme (Grateful Apparition, Thrummingbird, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus) that also feeds a Darksteel Reactor alternate win. Secondary paths are combat damage from Kratos-pumped Gods, The Locust God token swarm, and Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded cheating in hasty threats. The deck is a midrange beatdown/engine build with pillowfort protection rather than a fast combo deck.
