Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange strategy built around the partner pairing of Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The core game plan focuses on generating artifact and creature tokens to trigger repeatable, board-wide +1/+1 counters. Michelangelo acts as an early attacker that generates Food tokens upon attacking, which immediately triggers Leonardo to distribute counters across your entire team. The deck amplifies this counter engine with synergistic creatures and enchantments like Hardened Scales, High Score, and All Will Be One. Once a dominant board presence is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings using Leonardo's five-color activation for evasion and lifelink, Raphael, the Muscle for double damage, or Wave Goodbye to clear opposing blockers. A balanced suite of reactive removal and protection spells ensures that key pieces survive long enough to close out the game over multiple combat steps.
