Angels & Demons by KF6String

Format: Commander

Commander: Shilgengar, Sire of Famine

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Angels & Demons graveyard-reanimator deck built to exploit Shilgengar, Sire of Famine's two activated abilities. The plan is to stuff the graveyard with Ripples of Undeath, Cemetery Tampering, Renegade Reaper, and Buried Alive, then sacrifice high-toughness Angels to Shilgengar to bank Blood tokens, and finally spend six Bloods to return every creature from the bin to the battlefield at once - a one-sided, repeatable Living Death. The reanimated swarm of evasive flyers, pumped by Lyra Dawnbringer and Righteous Valkyrie and armored by Sephara, Sky's Blade, closes the game through combat damage over one or two attack steps. A sturdy Orzhov control shell (Kaya's Wrath, Austere Command, Path to Exile, Anguished Unmaking) plus grind engines like Rampage of the Valkyries and Valkyrie Harbinger keeps the table honest. There are no infinite combos - this is a fair, potent value-reanimator whose ceiling is one overwhelming reanimation turn.
