Format: Commander

Commander: Erebos, Bleak-Hearted

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Erebos, Bleak-Hearted heads a mono-black aristocrats/sacrifice deck. Erebos is the command-zone engine: its death trigger draws cards and its activated ability turns spare creatures into repeatable removal. The primary plan is to generate endless token and recursive sacrifice fodder, draw through the deck, and convert deaths into life loss through Ayara and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, then finish with Living Death or repeated Phyrexian Reclamation loops. A secondary charge-counter/proliferate package with Coretapper, Everflowing Chalice, and Walking Ballista provides mana and utility, but the deck does not rely on a specific infinite combo. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built to use Erebos as a value engine rather than a combat threat.
