Deck overview

This Azorius midrange deck converts scry and surveil effects into permanent board power using Denzilore Fatehold. Early turns focus on deploying cheap evasive creatures and setting up mana with rocks like Arcane Signet and Sapphire Medallion. On Turn 4, Denzilore enters the battlefield, turning every subsequent scry or surveil spell into a team-wide +1/+1 counter trigger. Engines like Matoya, Archon Elder and Danny Pink draw substantial cards as creatures grow, while Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer provide unblockable and flying evasion. Asymmetric board wipes such as Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict clear opposing blockers without touching your modified team, paving the way for lethal combat finishes between Turns 6 and 8. Strong defensive tools including Ripples of Potential, Loran's Escape, and counterspells protect the board.
