Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By excluding all low-mana creatures from the 99, the deck guarantees that every Polymorph trigger from Jace's -3 ability, Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, or Synthetic Destiny flips directly into a game-dominating bomb. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters and immediately sacrifices a token to cheat high-impact threats like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Avacyn, Angel of Horror onto the battlefield. Cantrips like Brainstorm and Brainsurge tuck drawn fatties back into the library, while board wipes like Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight clear opposing blockers. Once dominant airborne creatures take over the board, the deck finishes opponents through overwhelming combat damage and life loss.
