THE UR-DRAGON by user5237713

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon ramp deck built around The Ur-Dragon's Eminence discount and attack-trigger value. The primary plan is to accelerate with mana rocks, land-tutor spells, and Treasure producers, then cast or cheat out a critical mass of Dragons. Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of the Peaks turn each entering Dragon into direct damage. A secondary plan uses Aggravated Assault with Ancient Copper Dragon or Hellkite Charger with Old Gnawbone to generate extra combat steps. The commander is not a hidden card; both Eminence and the attack trigger are central, but the deck can still operate if it never resolves Ur-Dragon.
