Deck overview

This Mardu deck is built around Neriv, Heart of the Storm and a suite of damage-doubling effects, aiming to turn every creature that enters the battlefield into a massive burst of damage. The primary game plan is to deploy Neriv, use haste enablers like Goro-Goro, Disciple of Ryusei or Urabrask the Hidden to give creatures immediate action, and then stack multiple doublers - Twinflame Tyrant, Fiery Emancipation, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor - to multiply combat or ETB damage into the triple digits. A secondary punishment theme, including Painful Quandary, Razorkin Needlehead, and Mai, Scornful Striker, taxes opponents' life totals and hands. The deck finishes either by overwhelming combat or by pinging with ETB triggers from Warstorm Surge and Terror of the Peaks. It lacks fast mana and tutors, making its execution inconsistent and slow, but when it comes together the damage output is explosive.
