Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Big Mana and Dragon Stompy strategy commanded by Ozai, the Phoenix King. It focuses on curving early mana acceleration into powerful mid-game threats, utilizing Ozai's unique firebending ability and mana retention static to pool unspent red mana across turns and phases. Once Ozai attacks and stores mana, he gains flying and indestructible while fueling explosive table-wide finishers such as Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, and multi-combat steps from Hellkite Charger and Moraug, Fury of Akoum. In parallel, a heavy dragon package featuring Terror of the Peaks, Utvara Hellkite, and Dragon Tempest provides formidable board presence and direct damage redundancy. The deck is reinforced by an efficient interaction suite including red redirection spells, black removal, and protective equipment.
