Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul combat control and stompy strategy led by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and the Background Raised by Giants. The primary goal is to accelerate mana in the early turns, deploy Baeloth, and make him a 10/10 Giant using the Background. Once Baeloth reaches 10 power, his static ability goads all opposing creatures with power 9 or less. This forces opponents to attack each other, dismantling their board states and reducing their life totals while generating a steady stream of Treasure tokens whenever goaded creatures die in combat. The deck backs up this control engine with large Giants, damage multipliers like Calamity Bearer and Unnatural Growth, and forced combat tools like Invasion Plans. While the deck dominates creature-heavy tables, it relies on natural draws for non-commander pieces and remains vulnerable to spell-based combo decks and well-timed removal on Baeloth.
