Megan's Rootha by Synningia

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment is a spellslinger combat deck that turns each instant or sorcery into a flying hasty Elemental sized to the biggest mana value cast that turn. The primary plan is to cast Rootha on turn 3-4, then chain 2-5 mana instants and sorceries to make 3/3 to 6/6 attackers each combat and pressure the table. Secondary paths use Rionya, Brudiclad, Thousand-Year Storm and Prismari, the Inspiration to multiply tokens or storm copies for explosive turns. Rootha is a repeatable token engine, not a combo piece; Brudiclad and Rionya act as hidden commanders that convert spell volume into lethal boards. The only infinite combo is Displacer Kitten plus Seething Song for mana, which needs a outlet to win.
