Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Sultai combo build centered on Zaxara, the Exemplary. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Zaxara ahead of curve via dense low-mana acceleration, then attaching Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura to generate infinite colored mana. Once infinite mana is established, the deck executes a same-turn win using lethal X-cost finishers such as Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or a tutor-accessible Walking Ballista. The list integrates deep functional redundancy and tutor support through Transmute cards, artifact mages, and Spellseeker, while maintaining resilient backup combos including Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy paired with Basalt Monolith and Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal. A robust interaction suite of efficient countermagic and spot removal protects the combo turn and disrupts fast opposing lines. While vulnerable to well-timed creature removal on Zaxara, built-in shroud from Pemmin's Aura, cheap counterspells, and diverse independent backup packages ensure strong resilience and rapid clock execution across typical four-player pods.
