Main Skullbro v.2

Format: Commander

Commander: Skullbriar, the Walking Grave

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Skullbriar, the Walking Grave Voltron deck built around stacking +1/+1 counters on a sticky, hasty commander and closing with commander damage or infect. Skullbriar, the Walking Grave enters cheap, attacks immediately, and uniquely retains its counters through the graveyard and exile, so removal rarely resets progress. The 99 supports this with dense counter multipliers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, Winding Constrictor), growth auras and equipment (Hydra's Growth, Bone Sabres, Luxior, Giada's Gift), and a deep suite of cheap protection. Finishers include Tainted Strike, Phyresis, Triumph of the Hordes, and Berserk. Secondary pressure comes from Kalonian Hydra and Vigor. The deck plays as a resilient, low-to-the-ground aggro-Voltron strategy that grows explosively once a multiplier sticks.
