Deck overview

Muddle, the Ever-Changing commands an explosive Izzet spellslinger and combat deck centered on copying high-impact nonlegendary creatures with myriad. By casting low-cost instant and sorcery cantrips, Muddle transforms into copies of premier threats before combat. When Muddle attacks, myriad creates token copies attacking each other opponent, multiplying enters-the-battlefield triggers across the table. The primary win condition unleashes massive burn and combat damage using Terror of the Peaks, Pyrogoyf, and Twinflame Tyrant, regularly dealing over 45 damage in a single combat step. The deck can also pivot into overwhelming card draw with Mulldrifter or execute an infinite combat combo using Rionya, Fire Dancer and Port Razer. Dense cantrips provide card velocity, while efficient interaction like Deflecting Swat and Counterspell protects key setup turns.
