Deck overview

This mono-blue tempo deck is commanded by Fblthp, Impossibly Lost and focuses on dealing combat damage with small, evasive creatures to draw surplus cards. By deploying low-cost attackers with flying, skulk, or unblockable abilities on the early turns, the deck consistently triggers Fblthp's ability on Turn 4 to net two extra cards every turn. It backs up this steady card advantage with tempo-oriented interaction, including a solid suite of counterspells, bounce spells, and creature-freezing Auras like Claustrophobia and Sleep Magic. Cipher spells such as Hidden Strings and Hands of Binding maximize the value of unblocked attackers by untapping lands or locking down opposing blockers. Because the deck lacks fast mana, high-power tutors, and infinite combo finishes, it wins through patient incremental combat damage and board control. It offers high card flow and reliable recovery, but demands careful navigation against opposing board wipes and large aerial blockers.
