Deck overview

This Mono-Green stompy deck is built around Bear typal synergies, efficient mana ramp, and aggressive combat finishes led by Beorn the Fierce. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and small Bears such as Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Mother Bear. On Turn 4, casting Beorn the Fierce immediately buffs the board with +2/+2, grants trample, and draws two cards at combat. In the mid-game, the deck leverages mass pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, and Unnatural Growth to turn its wide board into overwhelming trampling damage. It features substantial artifact and enchantment removal to clear opposing obstacles, while Ayula, Queen Among Bears provides recurring creature fighting. The deck recovers smoothly from removal thanks to secondary draw engines like Return of the Wildspeaker and Garruk's Uprising, ultimately eliminating opponents across consecutive combat phases by Turn 7.
