Deck overview

Tayam, Luminous Enigma leads an Abzan counters/reanimator deck that turns vigilance counters and +1/+1 counters into repeated self-mill recursion. The primary plan is to assemble the Luminous Broodmoth + Ashnod's Altar loop: sacrifice three non-flying creatures for six mana, let Broodmoth return them with flying counters, then use Tayam to remove three counters and repeat, eventually milling all opponents with Altar of Dementia. Secondary lines include Syr Konrad/Zulaport Cutthroat drain, large counter-based combat, and mass reanimation via Nethroi or Eerie Ultimatum. Nethroi acts as a hidden second commander for the slower, fairer plan. Tayam is the engine; without him the deck remains a functional midrange value pile but loses its fastest deterministic wins.
