Deck overview

This mono-white build commands Preston, the Vanisher to orchestrate an explosive blink and token duplication engine. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost creatures that draw cards or search Plains on entry, such as Spirited Companion, Wall of Omens, and Claim Jumper. Once Preston enters the battlefield, any effect that flickers a nontoken creature causes Preston to create a 0/1 Illusion copy of that permanent, doubling ETB triggers and fueling rapid card draw and board development. The primary win condition revolves around an infinite flicker loop utilizing Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel or cheap blink spells with Preston. This loop generates infinite mana by untapping lands, produces infinite Illusion tokens, and enables Preston's activated ability to exile every nonland permanent controlled by opponents. Alternatively, the deck can leverage token multipliers like Anointed Procession and Ojer Taq alongside Reverent Hoplite to overwhelm the table with Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will.
