Lathril Draft 1B by Corobanes

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Elf deck uses Lathril, Blade of the Elves to generate a wide army of Elf tokens, then wins through her life-drain ability or a mass pump. Early mana dorks accelerate Lathril out by turn 3-4, and her combat damage creates tokens that fuel card draw via Beast Whisperer, Toski, and Ohran Frostfang. Anthems like Coat of Arms and Chronicle of Victory turn the swarm lethal, while Finale of Devastation provides a game-ending tutor and pump. Reanimation from Meren and Victimize helps recover from board wipes. The deck is aggressive and synergistic but depends heavily on Lathril staying on the battlefield to keep producing tokens and grant the drain kill.
