Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Group Hug and Landfall Swarm strategy led by Zagorka, Mother of Sanctum. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating the entire table's mana and card draw through symmetric engines like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Zagorka's end-step Sanctum land tokens. While opponents enjoy extra resources, Zagorka's attack restriction and Propaganda protect your life total from aggressive backlash. The deck converts its bloated mana base and hand size into decisive victories via landfall token producers like Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Omnath, Locus of Rage, or card-draw payoffs like The Locust God, Xyris, the Writhing Storm, and Psychosis Crawler. Because the deck foregoes traditional counterspells and spot removal in favor of maximum synergy and resource velocity, it races toward a Turn 8 combat finish while navigating high vulnerability to opposing disruption.
