Commander: Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counter and X-spell deck built around Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief. There is no hidden commander; Ivy's copy trigger is the engine, while Primo, the Unbounded and Tanazir Quandrix are the alternate finishers. The main plan is to ramp into large X-cost payoffs such as Hydroid Krasis and Primo, while Ivy copies single-target spells so pump or removal becomes a two-for-one. Unbound Flourishing, Hardened Scales, and Ozolith amplify counters; Tanazir and Biomass Mutation convert that pile into a lethal trample swing. A secondary line uses Ivy's flying and copied buffs for commander damage. The deck is adaptable and can reset threats with Oversimplify, but lacks fast combos and relies on a combat step to close, making it mid-speed.
