Deck overview

This Grixis deck is an explosive Spellslinger combo engine piloted by Fire Lord Azula. Azula generates {R}{R} in combat and automatically copies every spell cast while attacking, turning cheap card draw and rituals into massive resource bursts. The deck's primary win condition is an infinite creature token loop utilizing Dualcaster Mage alongside clone spells like Electroduplicate or Cackling Counterpart. Flashback mechanics on key spells ensure redundancy and resilience against countermagic. Backup strategies include infinite mana and storm through Storm-Kiln Artist and Reiterate, storm finishes with Aetherflux Reservoir and Grapeshot, or asymmetric hand locks via Narset, Parter of Veils and Windfall. Backed by a dense package of low-cost counterspells and efficient card selection, the deck reliably pivots from value accumulation into a protected single-turn kill around Turn 5.
