Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain midrange deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The plan floods the board with creature tokens via Rhys the Redeemed, Esika's Chariot, Growing Ranks, Battle for Bretagard, and populate payoffs, then converts those bodies into massive life totals through Trostani's ETB trigger, Angelic Chorus, Soul Warden, and Suture Priest. Excess life fuels +1/+1-counter engines (Archangel of Thune, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, Nykthos Paragon) and finishers such as Aetherflux Reservoir and Halo Fountain. Secondary paths include go-wide combat amplified by Blossoming Bogbeast or Ghalta and Mavren, and a pair of infinite lifegain/counter loops. Trostani accelerates the life engine and provides repeatable populate, but the 99 contains enough independent token and lifegain pieces that the deck still functions without her.
