Commander: Gluntch, the Bestower

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya group-hug/pillowfort strategy helmed by Gluntch, the Bestower. The primary game plan is to deter attacks with tax effects, fogs, and goad, while using Gluntch's end-step trigger to distribute +1/+1 counters, card draw, and Treasure tokens-typically awarding the Treasures to yourself to accelerate. The deck accumulates life through incidental lifegain (Soul Warden, Mangara, the Diplomat) and small incremental sources, then aims to win by maintaining 40 or more life and resolving Felidar Sovereign. A secondary route involves Arbiter of Knollridge resetting life totals, but the primary win condition is the Sovereign. The deck lacks tutors and infinite combos, relying on its high draw density and political incentives to reach its goal.
