Deck overview

This Sultai deck unites Elf and Faerie kindred synergies under Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The early game focuses on deploying 1-drop and 2-drop mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Priest of Titania alongside evasive Faeries to accelerate Maralen onto the battlefield by Turn 4. Once Maralen enters, every subsequent Elf or Faerie exiles cards from opposing libraries and allows you to cast spells for free based on your kindred creature count. The deck converts this steady tempo advantage into a lethal board using token creators such as Lathril, Blade of the Elves and Alela, Cunning Conqueror, lord effects like Imperious Perfect, and anthem counters from Door of Destinies. A world-class interaction suite consisting of Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deadly Rollick safeguards the board while disrupting opposing combo attempts, allowing the deck to close games around Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage and group life drain from Skemfar Shadowsage.
