Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is built around Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate, utilizing Lurrus of the Dream-Den as a companion by restricting every permanent card in the deck to mana value 2 or less. The game plan focuses on deploying Sorin on Turn 2, transforming him on Turn 3 via dense 1-2 drop lifegain triggers, and accumulating loyalty and Food tokens. The deck turns massive life gain into lethal burn using Sorin's -1 loyalty ability or Vizkopa Guildmage. Large burst lifegain spells such as Beacon of Immortality, Revival // Revenge, and Oketra's Last Mercy allow Sorin to eliminate opponents with single massive strikes. As a backup win condition, the deck features the Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank infinite mill and drain combo, supported by an ultra-lean mana curve, potent removal, and dedicated planeswalker protection.
