Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity 5-color spellslinger combo deck centered on Codie, Ravenous Codex and the Prepare mechanic. The primary strategy uses early mana dorks like Bloom Tender to deploy Codie on turn 3. On turn 4, the deck activates prepared creatures to draw massive card volume or tutor combo pieces with double efficiency. On turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal storm turn by assembling Chakram Retriever and Storm-Kiln Artist. Every prepared spell cast untaps Codie and generates Treasure tokens, allowing Codie to repeatedly activate and re-prepare the entire creature suite. The resulting mana and untap loop lets the pilot cast Blazing Firesinger for immense mana and finish the table in a single turn using a doubled Exsanguinate from Stensian Sanguinist or lethal burn from Impending Flux.
