Deck overview

This Abzan deck unites Cats and Zombies under Olag and Miau, New Friends to execute a synergistic go-wide aggressive aristocrats strategy. The game plan relies on cross-tribal synergy: generating Zombie and Cat tokens to distribute +1/+1 counters across both creature types, followed by tapping the army in combat to trigger the commander's end-step group life drain. Mana acceleration and early drops establish the board by Turn 4, enabling critical mass by Turn 6 where combined combat damage and end-step life loss threaten the entire table. Standalone powerhouses like Sovereign Okinec Ahau, Bast, Panther Goddess, and Throne of the God-Pharaoh ensure the deck applies massive pressure even without its commander. While resilient through graveyard recursion like Reanimate and elite protection like Clever Concealment, the strategy remains vulnerable to repeated creature sweepers and lacks stack-based countermagic, relying instead on aggressive tempo, redundant token generation, and inevitable life drain to close games on Turn 7.
