Liesa, Forgotten Archangel by user3077467

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Liesa, Forgotten Archangel leads a grindy Orzhov aristocrats deck. The primary plan is to sacrifice nontoken creatures for value, drain opponents with Blood Artist effects, and use Liesa's end-step return to recast them. Syr Konrad, the Grim acts as a hidden commander, turning every death and graveyard return into damage. Secondary paths include token swarms from Grave Titan and Teysa, Orzhov Scion, backed by anthems, and evasive Angel beats. The deck controls the board with efficient removal and wipes, using Liesa to exile opponents' creatures. It has no infinite combo, so it wins through attrition and repeated sacrifice loops. The commander is the engine; without her, the deck becomes a slower, less recursive aristocrats build.
