Deck overview

This deck is a classic Bant toughness-matters aggro and card-draw engine commanded by Arcades, the Strategist. The core game plan establishes an impenetrable early defensive perimeter using low-cost defender creatures such as Wall of Blossoms, Sylvan Caryatid, and Overgrown Battlement. Once Arcades enters on turn 3 or 4, every subsequent defender draws a card and attacks using its toughness instead of power. The deck generates massive card velocity, chaining low-cost walls into asymmetric board wipes like Slaughter the Strong, Fell the Mighty, and Expel the Interlopers that decimate opposing creature boards while leaving your 0-power army intact. Finishes occur through overwhelming combat damage assisted by Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, The Pride of Hull Clade, Towering Titan, or Unnatural Growth. While heavily reliant on Arcades for offensive output, the deck boasts exceptional mana efficiency, high card draw density, and natural resilience against creature-based strategies.
