Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai elf-combo deck that turns the graveyard into a third hand. The primary plan is to accelerate into Thranduil, fill the graveyard with mana-dork elves, then use Staff of Domination to convert his gained tap abilities into infinite mana and card draw. The kill is made through Immaculate Magistrate and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, or by an elfball overrun with Ezuri, Tyvar, and Finale of Devastation. The deck is built around the creature face of Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally, using its Sorcery side early to mill and find lands while the creature side later provides tokens, an anthem, and landfall support.
