Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Baylen, the Haymaker, a potent Naya engine that converts creature and artifact tokens into mana acceleration, card draw, and combat stats. The strategy establishes early board width through efficient token producers such as Ocelot Pride, Charismatic Conqueror, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. Once Baylen is on the battlefield, the deck draws through its library and fixes its mana by tapping tokens at instant speed. The primary win condition revolves around amassing 8 to 12 tokens and deploying overwhelming finishers such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels or Craterhoof Behemoth, eliminating all three opponents in a single combat step. An extensive suite of instant-speed protection—including Flawless Maneuver, Heroic Intervention, and Grand Crescendo—ensures the token army survives opposing sweepers. Secondary burn damage from Purphoros, God of the Forge and Agate Instigator provides non-combat avenues to close out games.
